What to know
before you start

Who can create a strategy?

You do not need to be a professional trader. Choose supported assets, explain your approach and set your terms. Your track record develops as you use Tango.

What can I build today?

Crypto, tokenized stocks, Morpho lending and supported Uniswap liquidity. Eligible new Base strategies can use Hyperliquid perps with markets chosen at creation and creator authorized trades.

Can my AI trade automatically?

Today, your AI reads, drafts and proposes within permissions you choose. You review and authorize execution in Tango. Automatic agent trading is coming later.

How do creators earn?

Creators set management and performance fees within platform limits. Backers see those terms before joining, and the creator shares fees with Tango.

How this example works

With a 20% performance fee, $20 of a $100 gain goes to fees and $80 stays with the backer. The creator receives their share of those fees. This example starts at the previous high, so all positive gains qualify. A loss generates no performance fee here. Management fees, entry and exit fees, network and venue costs are excluded. No time period or future return is assumed.

How do the controls work?

Tango is noncustodial. Strategy contracts enforce their configured onchain rules. You choose and can revoke your AI’s permissions; connecting it does not grant signing authority.

What risks should I understand?

You can lose money. Market, liquidity, contract and provider risks still apply, and leveraged positions can be liquidated. Withdrawals depend on the strategy’s terms and available liquidity.
